The Sanders Armory AR-15 16″ 338 ARC Black Nitride Chrome Moly 1:8 Twist is a COMPLETE Upper Assembly with BCG and Charging Handle. The HBAR barrel has been air gauge tested for longer accurate shooting. We use LARGER 30 Caliber size feed ramps on our barrel extensions to eliminate feeding issues that you would see from barrels using standard M4 feed ramps. It is equipped with a low-profile Steel .750 Gas Block with a Stainless-Steel Carbine Length Gas Tube. The Free Float Ultra Slim Line MLOK Handguard has a full-line top rail while maintaining strength and light weight. The 338 ARC uses a Black Nitride Bolt carrier and our premium bolt with a proper head space bolt (.136). Sanders Armory Standard Charging Handle. The upper receiver is an AR15 / M16 Mil-Spec Upper Receiver with Spring Loaded Steel Dust Cover and Forward Assist. This AR15 Upper Receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, is precision machined to mil-spec specifications, steel dust door, and a forward assist.

The Sanders Armory 16" 338 ARC barrel is a performance rifle barrel designed for the .338 Advanced Rifle Cartridge, built for the AR-15 platform to deliver maximum energy from heavy bullets, including subsonic loads. The barrel is made of 4150 CMV Steel to provide a more robust barrel for accuracy and faster firing without compromising barrel life. The barrel features a 1:8 twist rate for stabilizing heavy projectiles. It also features 30 Caliber feed ramps, this advantage over standard M4 feed ramps allows the larger projectiles to feed smoother into the chamber. The barrel is a Black Nitride finish for durability, and a 5/8x24 muzzle thread as an industry standard for muzzle devices and suppressors. The 338 ARC is a versatile caliber suitable for hunting, tactical use, and varmint and hog control.

KAK Industry Barrel Thread Protector is for any rifle barrel threaded with the 5/8X24 thread pitch. The KAK thread protector offers the customer a solution to several possibilities. Guard’s threads from damage and gives the muzzle a finished look when compensator or flash hider isn't installed. Some customers are awaiting a custom or special muzzle device, compensator, or a suppressor. As with many muzzle devices they can increase the muzzle noise and flash by directing the expelled gases sideways or backwards. Which can also be unpleasant if your at a range next to another shooter.
