The Sanders Armory 18″ 6.5 Grendel II Match Grade Performance Series 5R Rifling Straight Fluted 416R Stainless Steel Upper Assembly Package includes An AR15 Premium Upper Receiver with Spring-Loaded Dust Cover and Forward Assist, Match Grade 18″ Stainless Steel 416R Medium Contour Stainless Steel Straight Fluted 6.5 Grendel (Type II) Barrel with 1:8 Twist and 5R Rifling. It has a Rifle Length Stainless Steel Gas Tube with .750 Gas Block and 15″ Free Float Slim Line MLOK Handguard. The MPI Tested Mil-Spec 6.5 Grendel Type 2 (.136) Nitride Bolt Carrier includes our custom made 6.5 GII Bolt and Steel Extractor and both are hard Phosphate coated. Phosphate does not compromise strength and heat treating like Black Nitride can which makes Bolts and Extractors prone to breaking. A 5/8×24 Stainless Steel Tapered Fat Comp, and Mil-Spec Standard Charging Handle.

Pair up your 6.5 Grendel Type II Barrel with this sweet Sanders Armory Nitride 6.5 Grendel II BCG ... It's a match made in heaven!

The Sanders Armory Corp 6.5 Grendel Melonite/Nitride BCG offers a 9310 Steel MPI Tested Type 2 bolt and a 8620 Steel Carrier with a Nitride finish that will not flake off, and produces less friction while increasing the life of the BCG. The bolt carrier groups are processed with the QPQ (quench polish quench), a specialized type of nitrocarburizing case hardening which increases corrosion resistance while adding natural lubricity and reduced wear.

The 6.5 Grendel (Type 2 head) Melonite/Nitride BCG Features:

  • 9310 Steel MPI tested bolt
  • 8620 Steel Carrier
  • Keys are made from 4130 Steel

KAK Industry Barrel Thread Protector is for any rifle barrel threaded with the 5/8X24 thread pitch. The KAK thread protector offers the customer a solution to several possibilities. Guard’s threads from damage and gives the muzzle a finished look when compensator or flash hider isn't installed. Some customers are awaiting a custom or special muzzle device, compensator, or a suppressor. As with many muzzle devices they can increase the muzzle noise and flash by directing the expelled gases sideways or backwards. Which can also be unpleasant if your at a range next to another shooter.
