KAK Industry Barrel Thread Protector is for any rifle barrel threaded with the 1/2X28 thread pitch. The KAK thread protector offers the customer a solution to several possibilities. Guard’s threads from damage and gives the muzzle a finished look when compensator or flash hider isn’t installed. Some customers are awaiting a custom or special muzzle device, compensator, or a suppressor. As with many muzzle devices they can increase the muzzle noise and flash by directing the expelled gases sideways or backwards. Which can also be unpleasant if your at a range next to another shooter.
