The Sanders Armory 16″ 338 ARC barrel is a performance rifle barrel designed for the .338 Advanced Rifle Cartridge, built for the AR-15 platform to deliver maximum energy from heavy bullets, including subsonic loads. The barrel is made of 4150 CMV Steel to provide a more robust barrel for accuracy and faster firing without compromising barrel life. The barrel features a 1:8 twist rate for stabilizing heavy projectiles. It also features 30 Caliber feed ramps, this advantage over standard M4 feed ramps allows the larger projectiles to feed smoother into the chamber. The barrel is a Black Nitride finish for durability, and a 5/8×24 muzzle thread as an industry standard for muzzle devices and suppressors. The 338 ARC is a versatile caliber suitable for hunting, tactical use, and varmint and hog control.
